I can't believe these people are related to me...

My Uncle, Aunt "Manina" and cousins came down to PR to visit us for the Thanksgiving holiday. So far I was very excited and eager to spend time with them as per usual. I had forgotten a teeny tiny detail...My Uncle, He's my Mom's brother! Therefore having him around is like having a mini-mom around plus he's gotten older and to mix it all up he's slower than her and he doesn't pay attention to what you are saying due to his short-attention span...umm yeah ring a bell anyone!!!
Don't get me wrong, I love them both very very much but It's not quite what I expected. I've been having fun making jokes and reminiscing to some extent but I wish I had an answer as to how in God's name am I related to these people.
I had a good time this Thanksgiving. I ate until I looked 2 months pregnant and I drank more than any Sepulveda. I finally got to enjoy the fact that I didn't get sick this holiday since I got sick every Thanksgiving for the past ummmm 23 years!!! Phew!
It was good, safe, drunken fun!

P.S. Here's a little something I came up with due to this past holiday...

A big Thanksgiving feast= $140.00
4 Bottles of wine for me=$28.00
Gin for Dad=$11.00
Beer for Mom and other guests=$22.00
...A full house of family and a drunken dog... Priceless!
...The look on my face when my cousin's 8 year old daughter knew more about sex than me... More than Priceless!
